We are Jenny and Ian Harris, a couple who love to travel, and we endeavour to give our guests an experience that we ourselves would expect from a holiday cottage. We provide the extra touches which help to make our guests feel really at home.

I cannot thank Jenny and lan enough for letting us stay in their wonderful property. It was absolutely beautiful, the surrounding area,the facilities were perfect,and went beyond all expectations. I also had the pleasure of meeting Jenny briefly on arrival she was the perfect hostess. We will definitely recommend her and her gorgeous house to friends and family.
Jenny's place is lovely, when we arrived it was very warm,extremely clean and we instantly felt at home. The beds were really comfortable and the linen was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The welcome gift was a lovely touch Would recommend!
Jenny and lan were the perfect hosts, While we didn't meet them, they gave us all the information we needed and communicated with us to make our stay perfect. The house is beautiful, so many rustic and period features but also very warm, cosy and homely that we felt like it was a second home the moment we arrived. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and our requests for 2 baby cots were met which saved us having to bring our own. Some toys were left in the living room which went down well with our little boy! Would highly recommend and hopefully will stay again in the future.
An absolutely wonderful stay! The place feels like a warm and cozy chalet, with every detail thought through. We were four adults and two young kids and there was everything we needed, from high chair to baby toys. Communication with Jenny was always swift and easy. Really highly recommended!
Perfect venue for a family celebration for a special birthday. Location is perfect for walking, visiting the local areas and to see the extensive local wildlife especially when they are in the lane by the front gate. The cottage overall is spotless and really well equipped not only for cooking three big family meals but for our grandson too as there was a cot, high chair and toys available too. Jenny & lan were excellent hosts and very quick to respond to any questions. We'd highly recommend this venue!
Jenny is a wonderful host and has a gorgeous housel It really was a home from home and the place is very child friendly with kids toys, dvds, child safety gates and blackout blinds. Everything you need is here and there are lovely little touches like the welcome pack which was really appreciated. Communication was perfect, the house manual is excellent and there is nothing to fault with this beautiful home, we had a lovely time! Thank you!
We so enjoyed our stay at Jacaranda. The house had everything we could possibly need. It was roomy and scrupulously clean, and communications with the lovely host were retuned very promptly. We don't have small children anymore but would have appreciated how well-equipped it was for babies and toddlers if we had them- down to the security covers on electrical sockets. Just excellent!
Jacaranda was perfect for our multi- generation family Christmas. The house was decorated beautifully and very cosy. The brick fireplace and log burner was fabulous on Christmas and Boxing Day. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for my elderly parents and the enormous upstairs bedroom with its quirky wardrobe were fabulous, not to mention the huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower. The kitchen had more than enough cooking utensils, pots, pans, serving dishes and space to prepare our Christmas and Boxing Day banquets! Would highly recommend and will return if circumstances allow!
Another fabulous stay at Jacaranda. Jenny as always was great at communication, quick to answer any questions I had. The house literally has anything you could need I think - even down to a measuring jug and food weighing scales which I had forgotten to bring and to my delight were there in the kitchen! The house is so comfortable and cosy and clean!! It's in a perfect location for exploring the New Forest, Peppa Pig World and ferrying it across to the IOW. We will definitely be back next year!

First rate bungalow with absolutely everything on hand you can imagine. Very cosy (but not small), the best hosts I've ever come across and really helpful. If I go back to the New Forest, I will definitely return and enjoy their hospitality again. This really is the best "home" from home we've visited. No wonder people spend Christmas there, it's truly such a wonderful find. If we're back in the area, we'll definitely search you out again. Thank you so much, and your home made jam was to die for!. We had a great stay at the property that was in a lovely location with very close access to the New Forest, a short walk along the road. The property itself was a good size and well-proportioned rooms, and was very well-equipped with everything you could need. It was a nice touch from the owners to leave some treats for us to enjoy. The cleanliness of the property was second to none, which was great given the current situation with Covid-19. We'd certainly like to return at some point. Thank you Jenny and Ian.
It was one of our best holidays in England thanks to the stunning house and cozy atmosphere there. Jenny was extremely hospitable and friendly. The house was great and clean, everything was perfect for our stay.

This cottage is extremely cosy and big enough to very comfortably accommodate six people. The place is warm, immaculately clean and feels like home. Check in and out is effortless and Jenny made the whole process a doddle! Thoughtful touches made us feel special. Will definitely stay again
A gift for my parents for the wedding anniversary and a fantastic house in which to celebrate. Perfectly situated in the countryside, incredibly close to a large number of walks, but also only 10 minutes from the local towns and shops. The house itself was spotless and had everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Both Jenny and Ian were very responsive when required and I couldn’t recommend this house highly enough.
Well, what can I say.. I go away a lot and this was the best accommodation that I have ever booked. Very clean, superb location with wildlife just few minutes away and a large garden. There was even food in the fridge along with a bottle of wine! Thank you, we had a lovely time.

Great 7 night stay by the New Forest. House was very clean, 3 great-sized bedrooms, large kitchen, lounge and dining area. Felt like a home from home, so comfortable. Had everything you need for a relaxing break. Instant reply to any questions we had. Already looking for next year. 5 stars.
The perfect location and a real home from home (but much tidier!). The moment we set foot in the cottage we felt relaxed and ready to make all the final preparations necessary. Jenny was really accommodating when we made our enquiry, as we needed to be sure it was OK for the wedding car, photographer etc to arrive on the Saturday which was all fine. The cottage is quiet, spacious and very comfortable, it would make a perfect base for a longer stay from which to really discover all the New Forest has to offer. Thank you so much, despite one of the wettest weekends of the year we were able to have the ideal base to work from. Perfect!!
I had been in contact with Jenny before our stay due to concerns over Covid as having recently had treatment for cancer, I wanted to know about cleanliness etc. I needn't have worried! Jenny explained what cleaning procedures had been carried out and supplied a link to the company whose cleaning products they use. The property was beautifully kept. Off street parking in a quiet area, warm and welcoming - a proper home from home. Ideally situated for a walk on the nearby forest and common area with good access to local places - a full five stars from us!
